Hey I'm in high school varsity baseball and does anyone know any :dumbbell:exercises:dumbbell: that can help you throw faster and farther. Any suggestions would really help, since I am a sub-pitcher/outfielder. Thanks!

You either got an arm or you don't that simple.
I was a natural in baseball and had a huge gun and this isn't earned, learned or gianed you have it or you don't.

This is why there is so many piss poor arms in MLB and I mean piss poor.
MLB only has a hand full of guys that you don't even think about putt teir arm to a test guys like Valadmir Guerrero but most of them if not can't even make the throw to the bag they throw it way the hell far off and this is why the cut off man is there.

You're absolutely right SFG. So much for that whole rate of force development theory. While we're at it, lets also make sure not to recommend external rotation to pitchers, because that won't really help to correct any imbalances anyways.
While we're at it, you should take over coaching the US sprinters. Make sure they don't lift any weights, that will just slow them down.

Well then it's a good thing you're not a trainer.
Science and Practice of Strength Training, by Vladmir Zatsiorski. Read it. Half the examples in that book deal with throwing athletes and performance.
