September saw me at my worst. 306 pounds. I hoined HMR weight loss program and have lost 52 so far. I have been working out on my own, but needed more so I found this site. I will be working out using this program 3 times a week (Monday, Thursday and Sat). Am I right that I need to find a weight I can keep form and without much struggle except for the last few? And don't change the weight for the 4 reps?

In addition I am going to be taking an ab and core class on Wednesday and a water aerobic class on Sat.

I am open to suggestions and criticisms. I need to lose weight and get physically healthy for health reasons not vanity :-)

Yes, keep perfect form at all times. If it is a struggle, it means it's too heavy, and yes the last few reps should be tougher as your muscle tires out.

Be careful not to do too much activity as your body also needs rest. Good luck with all, and welcome to freetrainers.com

A little discipline at the table and at the gym might help reduce that belly!

Thanks, I walk 45-60 min a day in 3 sets (break, lunch and break), I try to get in 20 min of swimming when I get to the gym, as my last workout since I enjoy it so much.
I will let you know if I have any mroe questions. This site seems so great and helpful!
