Hi guys,

I was wondering what is your favourite healthy snack/s? Im getting bored of fruit and nuts, so does any one have any good ideas?

Cottage cheese. Sometimes I'll toss some fresh pineapple in it. I'll eat a pound or so before bed and whatever is left in the container as part of one of my mid-day meals.

What if you cannot eat cottage cheese or yogurt?

Hmmm...I don't know. I don't snack, just eat small meals so a snack could be a mini version of what you'd normally call a meal. I try to always have a veggie, protein and maybe fruit every time I eat. Except I don't usually have spinach with my oatmeal. What do you eat for a meal? Cut it in half and call it a snack. I'm stumped by the no cottage cheese or yogurt dilemma since two of my mini-meals today consist of these.

I often have oatmeal as a snack. I just use the individual packets of regular oatmeal and add steaming hot water (we have it available at work by our coffee stations). Sometimes I mix in whey protien, sometimes berries, sometimes almonds. Come to think of it, it's snack time, think I'll go make some now:)

Cottage cheese, some blueberries and/or strawberries, a little bit of splenda...That is some good stuff. But something else besides cottage cheese could cheese some wheat crackers with cheese and tuna on it.

LOL. I got carried away with the "cheese" there. I meant could "be."

Thanks. I like the oatmeal idea and the wheat crackers with tuna sounds good too.
