I hope this message takes because the last one did not. First off do not lose hope. You have lost 7lbs already this month. That sounds like a step in the right direction. As long as you eat less calories than your maintenance level you will continue to lose weight. You need to do this gradually or you will make things worse. Do you lift weight? If not you need to start. Please fill out your profile and check out the site. This site is great and the people are even better. Good Luck

KA gives great advise - do not lose hope - believe it or not 7lbs is a healthy amt to lose in that time. Remember it will take about as long to take it off as it did to put it on. Give it another month and you will see. Good luck

7lbs is a good amount. I'd say aim for .5-2 lbs of fat loss per week. I know this seems slow, but this is what you need to aim for in order to keep your metabolism running and to prevent a plateau.
Are you doing anything else exercise wise other than walking?

Don't give up! You've lost some fat already, congrats on that.
What "might" be happening is that you have lost some fat, but gained some new muscle, thus the scales look as if you've not lost any weight, when in fact you've burnt fat and put muscle in it's place (in a sense :) )
Stay with the program and keep your head up, you're doing well!!!
