Ok, I hope I am not asking an idiotic question...I have been looking over the forums and appreciating the different features of the site, but I am still learning!

I have been on Weight Watchers since about September and have lost 47lbs so far. I'm 5'5 and trying to get down to my goal weight of 125-ish but I really want to be fit, so I'm not as concerned with weight as with fitness and tone. I have about 50 lbs left to lose. I have been doing great with the nutrition part, but am only recently starting to really excercise. I'm sch a newbie to this, it's not even funny as far as understanding what I should be doing. I only have limited access to my gym, I can go *maybe* 2X a week if I am lucky. Here is my plan:

Mon,and Wed: 30- 45 min cardio + 45-60 min pilates OR 60 min cardio

Tues, Thurs, and Sat: Strength 40-60 min

Fri: 45-60 min cardio

Sun: REST

My cardio consists of a cardio workout video (I get different ones from netflix) a walk around my hilly neighborhood OR gym machines (mainly elliptical) if I can get there. Strength training is done with workout videos mainly. I'm also trying to do 75 stability ball crunches daily, but I am really confused on abs now, because I keep reading different things about how often I should do them. UGH! Can anyone tell me what they think of my routine?? Thanks in advance!! I really need help!

Congratulations on the weight loss, that is great. What type of weights are you using? Just curious how heavy you can go. I would say you can do abs 3-4 times a week, and really squeeze the muscle when contracting. Are you still continuing Weight Watchers as well?

Great, thank you for the reply. I am still on weight watchers and plan to stay on the program since it is working so well for me...TO answer your question, I started out using only 3lbs, I'm now using 5 lb weights, I probably need to go up to 8 soon. Thanks again!
