Hey everyone.. I am trainig for the firefighter's combat challenge in July...I need to alter my diet and I have no clue on where to begin...I will start by going through a day of eating for me...Breakfast:Normally a bowl of cherrios with a cup of skim milk, 10:00am:An apple and some granola, 1:00:A turkey sandwhich on wheat bread with lite mayo, lettuce, and tomato, 4:00pm a piece of fruit and some granola, and 7:00pm a broiled chicken breast, cup of brown rice, and some steamed veggies...I need to find a diet that will be better conducive to my training someone help me please

Definitely need to add more protein to your diet. Try for example in the morning with your cheerios adding some cottage cheese (very good protein. Try to have a alanced diet of protein and carbs for each meal, you might need to make your portions a little bigger than you regularly would cause you are going to be in some extensive training, i did that about 6 years ago and it was harsh. I agree with ravenbeauty, u should get some more protein in ur diet, but u can alternate from carb+prot meals and fat+prot meals. im guessing since ur training for the firefighters combat challenge that ur trying to bulk!
