I bought this product the otehr night in search of a healthy substitute for pizza crust- and now I am addicted!

Light Flatout wraps

1 flatbread (and it is a generous size)=
90 calories
2.5g fat, no sat or trans fats
0 cholesterol
420mg sodium
16g carbohydrate
9g fiber
0 sugar
9g protein
2% of daily calcium

made with 100% stone ground wheat flour.

I used it as pizza crust (both my daughter and husband liked it, too),
I wrapped my egg whites and pico de gallo in it for breakfast,
I warapped lettuce, turkey, cilantro and avocado in it for lunch...

I am all out of it now :(...but I hope it makes a nice alternative for some of you bread-a-holics like me!:)

I have tried these and really enjoyed them. I also tried the Tomato Basil flavored Flatout which was similar in nutritional value. They also had a Light Multigrain which contained some flax and was 100 calories.

I buy them when they're on sale and stick them in the freezer. They keep extremely well and thaw out real quick.

also, what's giving it the high protien. My whole wheat tortilla wraps, although pretty small, only have 3g of protein.

alright...answered my own question via google:

Flatout Light Original Ingredients:

Water, Vital Wheat Gluten, Oat Fiber, Whole Wheat Flour, Enova Oil (Diacylglycerol Oil Made From Soybean Oil & Canola Oil, Vitamin E & Vitamin C Palmitate , Polyglycerol Esters Of Fatty Acids), Contains Less Than 2 % Of Each Of The Following: Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Maltitol, Yeast, Baking Soda, Wheat Protein Isolate, Potassium Sorbate & Sodium Propionate (Preservatives), Fumaric Acid, Calcium Peroxide, Cellulose Gum, Guar Gum, Calcium Sulfate, Xanthan Gum, Annatto Color, Salt, Enzymes, L-Cysteine, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin.

Now I see where the protein is coming from.

Amy says "generous size" so they must be bigger than 6inches:)

Now I just have to source them in Ontario

:) They are oblong (good shape for making wraps), about 8-10" (guesstimating).

I hope you can find them!
