I have been working out for almost 6 months but it seems i can't lose any pound. My weight is still the same thing. I both excerise with cardio and weight training. Moreover, i dont' eat much and i am pretty sure that i eat less than 1200 calorie a day. Why i can't lose any weight? What might be my problem?
Thank you

you answered your own question in the post...eating only 1200 cals a day sets body into starvation mode...you need to eat about 10cals per lb of body weight as low as 8 cals per lb if extremely obese....but with the energy level from you being active i would go no less than 10cals per lb bodyweight....but need more infor on you to give you a more specific answer no body weight or height posted and profile not filled out

Eating too little is only going to make you gain weight in the long run. Your body is probably storing fat because you aren't getting enough food. If/when you stop being as active you will gain even more weight!!

I am going through the same thing! I have been eating well and exercising for 8 months now. I started at 175 pounds.I have toned up, but not lost very much weight. I am 5' 10" and I now weigh 166. About 24 months ago I weighed 145. I gained the weight by eating the amount of calories my Dr. suggested. If I eat 1000 or more calories a day I gain weight rapidly and it never levels off! -30 pound gain to prove it! I am very health conscious and I know that NOW I am eating proper foods. what is wrong?
In the past the only time I have ever lost weight is when I eat a max. of 800 calories a day and workout 5 times a week.

well heather you will gain weight if you eat properly after being in a starvation mode but it should level off BUT OMG 1000 cals???????? THATS INSANE!!!!
you AT BARE MINIMUM SHOULD HAVE 10 CAL PER LB BODYWEIGHT which is at least 1660 at your weight AND if you continue to gain weight off that you need a complete workup by doctor
I KNOW GASTRIC PATIENTS WHO EAT MORE THAN YOU!
