I found this supplement while I was at the grocery store today and was wondering if this was a good one to take.
It is an Omega-3 formula(Omega-3,6, and 9 fatty acids).
It contains:
Borage Seed Oil 800mg
Omega-6 Fatty Acids 448mg
Linoleic Acid(Omega-6)288mg
GLA(Omega-6)160mg
Oleic Acid(Omega-9)116mg
Fish Body Oil 800mg
Omega-3 Fatty Acids 440mg
EPA(Omega-3) 264mg
DHA(Omega-3) 176mg
Flax Seed Oil 800mg
ALA(Omega-3) 480mg
The instructions say to take 2 capsules per day. Is this a good supplement and is that dosage enough??
Just wanted you opinions!

You normally do not need more Omega 9 or 9. I would go with a high Omega 3 source like fish oil.

That should be 6 or 9. Especially 6, in fact you could probably conciously avoid w6's for a year and still not be deficient.

Doesn't an abundance of one counteract or minimize the effeciency of the rate the body can utilize the other??

Yes, sort of. This is the problem kind of. The ratio of our fat intake is far out of wack. Especially so for athletes, but even normal healthy folks this is a huge problem.
