Hi all, new guy here with a question. My gym does not have a pullover machine. Can anyone recommend a similar exercise that works the same muscle area. I could do free weights, but an alternate machine would be helpful. thnx

All i have is a basic but great olympic free weights so no pullover but you can do straight arm pullovers but if looking to work the lats nothing works better than a bent over row

Pullovers mainly work the delts. I recommend straight arm cable pushdowns, upright cable rows, machine shoulder press. For lasts, the best exercise actually are pull ups and rows. I like bent over rows, but don't recommend them unless you have a strong core (i.e. abs, obliques, glutes, but especially, lower back). If you don't do them right you can put undue stress on your lower back. I recommend machine cable rows. You get the same effect but aren't bent over in the process.
