Can anyone give me the correct way to breath while doing crunches and lifting any kind of weight? I've had people tell me to inhale on the lift and I've had people tell me to exhale on the lift. Please help! Thanks -can anyone give pointers on how to do a crunch properly? (machine and ball workouts)

Breathing comes naturally. Most lifts involve exhaling during the concentric movement.

As for crunches... Here you go:

I;ve also been told when ever you do the pushing motion, you should exhale. (ie. On the bench press, when the bar is on the way down you inhale. When you push the bar you exhale.)
