Okay, after seeing tons of people complain about the FT nutrition recommendations, I decided I'd play around with the calculator a bit. Here's what I came up with:
The calculator only adjusts total calories up and down when you change either your goal or metabolism, but not when you adjust activity level.
The carb level is always constant, no matter what your goals (3.5x bodyweight for a fast metabolism, 2.5x body weight for a slow). Only fat and protein are adjusted for goals.
Every macronutrient value uses the same formula when metabolism and goals are the same.
Okay, once and for all, DO NOT use the calculations on this site, they are skewed horribly. FT recommended 20x my body weight for total calories to CUT FAT! That's my bulking diet!
