OK, well I am new here. My goal is to be skinny again. I am currently 119 pounds & I am 5ft 3. Some may say this is good, but honestly, I carry it in two places..my hips & butt! I am basically a skinny-fat person. I have always eaten very healthy & mostly maintained my weight at 110. To get there years ago, I lived at the gym & hardly ate anything but fruits & vegetables & egg whites. I also only ate around 500-700 calories for many years. I would almost say it was some sort of eating disorder. Well, over the past two years, I added oatmeal, natural peanut butter & whole wheat bread to my diet. After I did this & brought my calories up, I gained 10 pounds in two years. I always did around 30 minutes on the treadmill & the machines at the gym.(although I really didn't know what I was doing!) At my current weight, I am flabby, have cellulite & I just feel depressed. I want to become thinner again, but I want to do it healthy this time. My question is why would adding carbs & good fats make me gain so much weight? Does it matter the times of day I was eating these? I just started to really watch what I am eating again & my calories are only about 1000 a day. Do I need to eat more? I have not lost anything in 1 week so far. Any advice would be great.:)
