Hi. I haven't posted here for awhile but I have a question:
Those little drink packets by Crystal Light (and others), sugar-free...is there any disadvantage to drinking about 4 drinks made from these per day? There's no sugar but they are sweetned by something. Will I be negatively affecting my health if I drink these in place of straight water?
Also, aside from the acid, what are the negatives to drinking diet sodas, such as Cherry Coke Zero? I wouldn't replace water with these but I don't want to drink soda at all if it would cause me to gain weight.
Thanks!!

heck no. People say try to get at least a gallon of water in a day, but with that said I drink strictly only unsweeted green tea. So I'm sure your fine

A study I read a while back said that diet sodas give you a false sense of hunger. It makes you feel like you did not get full when you may have just consumed a large meal. Studies are a dime a dozen however so I'm not sure how true that is. Apart from the supposed side effects from artificial sweeteners I would say they are fine but when you look at all the claimed side effects of sucralose and aspartame it is kind of scary.
