Hello everyone. I guess I've lurked here long enough and thought I would introduce myself. I quit smoking a month ago, cleand up my diet and started working out three weeks ago. I'm off to a good start already. Down 7 pounds!:)

Good for you!

Smoking is next on my clean up list, any tips?

It's all about mind set and willpower. I've "quit" numerous times only to light up again within weeks. I've tried the patch, and nicotine gum but they just feed the addiction and when you run out it's much easier to get a pack of cigarettes than nicotine gum! I quit cold turkey this time which is not suggested by any "experts." After two weeks of not smoking, I stepped onto an eliptical and managed 45 minutes of cardio! When I was smoking I would be lucky to get 20 minutes without feeling like I was going to pass out. That's enough motivation for me to stay away! I wish I could give you that magic piece of advice but If I had it I would be rich! Good luck!

Makes sense to be honest, sounds like the exact same mindset change I experienced with food and exercise.
I'm expecting to wake up one day in the next week or so and just decide to stop and that will be it.
