How much sugar is "too much" for a protein bar? The one i'm eating right now has 29g..... fudge brownie.. yumm..satisfies my sweet tooth..

It satifies your sweet tooth for a reason...may as well have a snickers! LOL...12 gr. of sugar is one tbsp., so you have over 2 full tbsp. of sugar.

Met-Rx BIG 100 by chance? I tried one of those, and though they are good, they're just loaded with sugar. 29g is definately too much. Most candies don't even have that much.

The Detour Bar (Peanut Butter w/3 layers of choclate and peanuts) by Designer Way is pretty good. I think it has like 32g Protein, 6g Sugars, and something like 290 calories. The best tasting bar bu far w/o loads of sugar. Taste like a sneakers candy bar, try it, you may like it.
