hello everyone. i am new to the site and am looking forward to meeting people that have simular problems with there weight. If anyone has any advise for me please let me know. i am a 24 year old female, mother of two, which is the main reason i need to lose weight. i was on bed rest rest with both of my childern for 3 months or more but after i had them i had a lot of back problems and could hardly walk, sit, stand or really anything because of the pain. but if you know something that will help me please let me know.

best advice I can give you is to think about why you want to change, make it really clear in your mind and make a decision, a firm decision to change. Write it down if you need to, all the reasons why and then the positive statement of intent from you... "I am going to lose 20lbs and be happy" for example.
Then... read and read and read some more. The stickies and forums here are full of information!
In a nutshell, get your mind right, then get the knowledge to make the changes. The rest is easy after that :)
