Hi, Since childhood, i've always had problem with my stomach sticking out. i was actually skinny when i was kid but had little fat on the waist and stomach. now i'm in my late 30s little overweight(5ft/8inches at 175lbs, with signs of fat on the chest and stomach. I'm starting to work out 3 times a day to loose the fat belly. So far i lost 5lbs with 15minutes on the treadmill and doing a few ad exerise. i can loose the fat belly even though i had it since childhood?
At your height/weight, resistance training would do wonders for you by increasing your lean mass and losing the fat. I'm not going to candy-coat this for you: Fatloss can be a long, hard road. If you half-ass it, you will fail. Commit yourself to a LIFESTYLE change - avoid stress, 'bad' foods, and laziness. Set short-term and long-term goals that are real and attainable. You can do it if you really want to.
