I'm a hollistic personal fitness trainer and work at Curves for women in the evenings. I juggle these two jobs with a home, husband and a 10 year old daughter. Being a personal fitness trainer permits me to set my own hours, and husband and I divide the day so one of us always her with the little one =)
Unforunately, running around, and training others, allows very little nutritional time fo myself. I grab foods here and there as time permits, and often fall beneath what my daily average should be, or do a great big no no with fatty fast foods. Ironic, isn't it? :) Basically here to share and get new fitness tips and most of all to get a grip on my nutritional intake since the rushabout life I lead takes me though blood sugar high and lows throughout the day, something that needs to be stabilized. This will focus me and give me a pause before I put whatever into my body.
Nice to be here!

One tip that I could share is to prepackage some snacks and meals. I always have fat free jello on hand for when I'm craving something sweet. I purchase field greens and prepackage them into one cup servings along with a small container of dressing to grab and go. Be sure to have plenty of fresh fruit around, maybe even some protien bars in a fix. For dinners make some healthy caseroles, etc. when you have a few hours and freeze them. When you are in a rush to make dinner, just thaw and bake. I always carry a little cooler in my car with cold water, and the snacks mentioned above. I learned that in the time it takes me drive through MCD's I could park in the parking lot and eat something healthy that I brought with me. I also track all of my foods and nutritional supplements at fitday.com to determine if I'm getting what I need, or need to add an extra piece of fruit, or veggies here or there. Good luck!!!

Welcome to FT Selene, I usually cook my weeks worth of meals on Sunday and prepack them as amy mentioned above. It makes it a lot easier to throw into a microwave and eat away during the week if you are crunched for time.
Good luck!
