Hi, I'm a new member of FT. I set up my personal nutrition plan through FT but the numbers seem a high.

Protien 172
Carb. 436
Fat 33

Total 2673

I have tried to eat this many caloris before but can't seem to do it. I am a college student so I can not always eat 6 meals a day like is recomended. I guess my question is, is this the right amount I am to eat if I want to trim down and become more defined. Thanks for any and all help.

I would cut the carbs to at least 200. That will get the calories to your favour. The nutrition calculator on here is way off. Carbs are 9 calories per gram, the same as protien. So now you will be able to get all the calories.
Hope this helps, good luck and welcome to freetrainers.

Hi I am a newbie and would like some suggestions on a low fat diet as well as foods that will be leaner . just tired of reading everything in site as far as labels, and getting confused with all the hype.:dumbbell::angry:
