Did you input your goal correctly when you set up the program?

Did you input beginner, intermediate or advanced? It may depend upon your level.

Drop the reps and increase the weight. It seems that you're semi-educated on the topic already and are just looking for confirmation.

I wouldn't do sets of 16, 14, 10, 8 very often. Drop the reps.

try doing sets of 10, 8, 6, 4...you get higher weights and will be able to bulk up pretty fast

I am in thr same boat, I am on the free trainers Gain Muscle Mass Training Program. Most of my reps for biceps and triceps involve sets of 4 with reps of 16,12,10,8. For chest and shoulders its 12,10,8 and the latter 16,12,10,8. I always though more reps was for definition not muscle gain. I selected the intermidate program level?I'm deffinetly in search of a little guidance. I want to go gain muscle. Also how effective is the 12 week ab program

thanks for any and all advice
