What kind of food is good to eat that doesn't cost much if i want to go on a diet? I just want to lose weight and trim up without blowing much of my money
You can buy cans of tuna, large bags of frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts, fish fillets (no breading). Just a few ideas.... I eat the hell out of tuna whenever I need a snack. Another good thing to remember is never let yourself get hungry. You need to keep your metabolism burning by taking in small portions of food through out the day. If you get hungry and then just stuff your face, your body will take what it needs then just store the rest... Which is where the dreaded tummy comes from. I'm not trying to sound like a know it all, but this is all just what I have come to learn in my desperate adventure to get in and stay in shape.

Geez mags, you big know it all! Just kidding. Welcome to the board.
rlb, you can also get some oatmeal, frozen veggies, or make your own protien shakes for some nutrion in a pinch. Walmart, and other major chain grocery stores sell "Body Fortress" Whey protien powder for about $12 for a large container of it and it's not bad.
Check out the WSSC diet within this site, it has a great diet to follow or at least some guidelines to get you started. You should find several inexpensive ideas there too. Good luck!
