I'm new here. I recently went to the Dr. and she informed me that I am 82 pounds over weight. So starting last week I started a diet, and set up an account here. today was my first workout through FT, and it went ok. Any tips you guys can give me to help me lose the weight? it honestly isn't a vanity issue, diabetes and heart disease run rampant in my family.

Welcome kasketkyle, you are headed in the right direction so far.

Helpful tips, read the thumbtacked threads in the forums, especially the beginners and newbie forums, they are full of helpful information! For recipes and meal plans you can check out the diet and nutrition forum as well.
