Sorry for the questions, but Im trying to get my diet on track. Yesterday I took in 218g of carbs, 213g of protein and 47g of fats. My caloric intake was 2199. Are my carbs to low? Did I take to much protein? I weigh 190 lbs. I think my fats are ok. I did not eat many veggies though. What does my body do with the protein that it does not use? I do strength training Monday through Saturday followed by 20ish minutes of cardio and more stretching.
I am really trying, but I get confused with the "do's and dont's". Example: What to eat/drink for pre and post workouts? What/when to eat before bed? Bread? Breakfast cereals? (I eat 'Go Lean' 13g protein, 30g carbs, 10g fiber and 1g fat) FF milk in place of a protein shake?
There have read lots of advice, but some of it seems contradictory.

Hi bull. Look at the WSSC diet plan. There are several posts about it, and really breaks down what you should be eating very easily. I just started it, and was so overwhelmed when I first read the "instructions" but it's quite easy once you get into it. Good luck!

Lean muscle/ fat loss. My body type is what I call a chubby skinny kid.
My carbs need to be cut wayyyy back.

I cut my carbs in an effort to cut the weight and I dropped about nine pounds in a month... kept them to about 25% of my diet. My goal was to cut fat, and I wasn't all the successful with it. But, I did lose a lot of weight.

Thanks for the help. Yesterday I started th WSSC plan. By month 3 I'm going to hate chicken and eggs. 2100 calories per day. 200g protein, 100g carbs and 66g fats. I can reach my protein intake and carb intake but I could not reach my calorie intake without going over the amount of protein and carbs. I also only took in 40g of fat...monday I'll start with Fish Oil so that will help. I took in 1399 calories...but the way I understand the plan is that I do not count any veggies I eat and I had plenty yesterday. Free food? Am I wrong? If I counted them it would bring me to 1750 calories..still under the goal, but closer.
I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I can do it.
