I dont know how I did it in the past... Just last year I weighed about 45lbs less than I do now. I've never had an issue eating well or exercising. Now it's another story.

I've been entering what I eat into the computer for a week now. My calories are always between 1500 - 2000. That's not bad. The problem is I eat soooo many carbs and soooo many fats! I didn't even realize the breakdown of my diet... At first it was like 70% carb... now it's evening out (ex. today was CHO 34 %, Fat 43%, & PTN 23%! ) ... this gets easier, right?

It will get easier, you will see. Just concentrate on one area at a time
Get your fat down and your protien up. Stay motivated and your motivation will turn in to habit. You can do it.

ok... just an update but I'm soooo proud I have to tell! So today I managed 40 30 30 again (not on purpose but it's still cool) and stayed within my calorie range AND had good fats! the majority of my fats were polyunsaturated! woo hoo. ... sorry but I really tried so i'm happy. And thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to go buy some tomorrow.

You're doing great Jenn, keep up the good work and you'll see that soon you wont even be thinking about what to eat but automatically follow a nice good diet!

Jenn:

I'm really happy for you. I'm having the same problem. It's really hard to get that much protein without the fat. Do you have any advice for me? So far I'm way under on calories, but high on fat...BAD!Let me know if you have any ideas.

Laura
