I try to hit the weight rooms every other day and on my off day do some cardio. Whats easier for me most of the time is running. Is running 3 miles okay (8min/mile pace) on my off days 2-3x a week? Or will that deter my muscle building process ?
It shouldn't if you eat some good carbs before running.
IE: 2 bannanas give enough energy that can last up to 90 min. If you don't fuel yourself before, yes you will use muscle, but nothing you will notice unless you are in competitions.
