hello everyonr: thank you for answering my questions for the general training. I weigh 130 lbs and I want to lose about 10 lbs in 6 months time... I strongly believe in a healthy, balanced diet, and i don't want to use any supplements, slim fast type of stuff. I gained so much weight in US, I used to weigh 115 lbs when I moved here. I don't know where to find a good calorie calculator.. I love to cook and I mostly use organic food supplies. If you can let me know if there is a good online resource or a book that I could use that will be great. I am thinking I am not eating enough and my body has shut down.. and i want to eat (who doesn't?) but I don't want to eat to gain weight...
thank you... you all have been great!!!

Another member told me about a site: www.fitday.com. You can record all your food intake for a day, plus set goals (eg. calorie intake, protein %'s etc) and also, shows a pie chart measuring protein, fat etc. I find it useful.
Good luck

I took a look at this site but found it a little less specific than i would have liked. if you imput something simple like eggs it produces results based on added salt and butter and measures it in "cups" rather than individual eggs. Out of interest, try inputting chicken - if you can find a result for chicken which is grilled without skin and no salt or oil you are a better man than me! thanks for the site anyway - cheers

You can measure by individual egg. The units have a drop down box as well. Try finding your foods by browsing categories rather than searches.

I also couldn't find grilled chicken the other day. however I chose "broiled without skin"... it should be very similar...
thank you for the tip. I started using fitday.com and it has been helping me.
