I've been drinking tons of water lately as I am starting my workout program.
Does it make a huge difference if I drink city water or filtered water? Should I start getting bottled water? Thanks!

As long as the city water isn't bad for you, you'll be fine. I perfer bottled water just for the taste, but some tap water is actually good for you (they sometimes and flouride to the water).

Where I live it has chlorine in it. Is that bad for me. I don't really like the taste but if it in the fridge then i can drink it but only if it is cold. Shainda

I drink water while at the gym .. I assume they filter the water but Who knows .. its only the YMCA and they may just have their water fountains hooked up to the city water. .
I don't see why it be a prob if you drink tap water or bottle. Aslong as the city don't put unecessary chemicals into it.

I ALWAYS use Brita filtered water. Call it cynicism or hypochondria, but I avoid tap water when possible.

Actually a few years ago 20/20 or some such show did and found out that most of the bottled waters was little better than regualr tap water. In fact some of the most popular I believe were to havebeen found to be tap water. So it is up to you I personally buy bottle dwater then reuse the bottles with tap water till they need to be recycled.

The type of water you drink is definately a matter of preference. Tap or filtered or bottled, I don't really care, as long as I am getting my H2O, i'm happy.
