Welcome to FT Andrew and good luck with your fitness goals. Try looking in the Diet & Nutrition Forum, there are several different dieting plans to help assist you.

Yep, no pop/soda, candy, alcohol, cake, brownies, high sugar cerial, pasta, white bread, white rice, ice cream (my weakness), fruit juices, bananna's and many other fruits.

Eat tuna, chicken, fish, eggs, veggies and protein shakes until you puke! Eat those 6 items every day until you reach about 2300 calories, 100g carbs and 60g of fats. Oh yeah...one more thing. Take a multi vitamin.

Don't forget to exercize (lift, run, bike or swim) 6 days a week. Don't worrie about the pain...it goes away after a while.

Bullhusk I disagree with a few items on your list, which is why I referred him to the specific diets & nutrition forum. I for one eat white rice, pasta, bananas and many other fruits. The food in your second paragraph are definitely food he wants to intake, but he can have some of the no-no's you mentioned in moderation if he chooses so he has more of a variety.
