Advice on workout routine..

Hello all--

So my normal workut routine is that i work out everyday, and every other day I lift and do weights and all that. I've had good results, and I'm not complaining, but I've gained a lot of muscle where I'd rather be losing the weight, not ADDING to it. Is there something wrong with my workout routine? Anyone please help!!!
