I am 19, about 6'0.5", 165 lbs, have high metabolism, and am very active with competetive ice hockey. I know there is information that can be found through searching the internet, but I wanted to post in a knowledgeable forum a simple question being what is the best and quickest way to gain weight? I obviously post this because I am the type of person that has trouble gaining weight. So, what type of schedule for eating should I have, what high-calorie foods are the best to eat, what type of weight training (in addition to the strength training I already engage myself in for hockey) should I be doing, what are some good shake recipes, etc.? I just need to be more knowledgeable in this subject of improvement and I am confident that if I have a solid plan and stick to it, I can reach my weight goal (which is 190-210 lbs. while being 6'1" or possibly being 6'2" by then). I know there are many people here with tons of useful information, so I would appreciate your responses. Thank you!

My advice is to eat a lot of food does not really matter as long as it is not junk food (chips cookies etc). Get in a lot of carbs like pasta, rice, potatos, eat a lot of protein like steak chicken and veges. Just eat caue hockey is by nature cardio workout you need a ton of calories to gain weight most likely 4000 or more a day.....hope this helps
