I've read a lot about Post Workout shakes and such. I was wondering why is it important to eat after Post Workout? I really dont eat anything after i work out. I usually drink some gatorade but thats about it. Should I be eating something after I workout?

It is extremely important to eat within 2 hours after your workout, for a variety of reasons. You need to eat because food provides the nutrients your body needs to help your muscles recover and build muscle. Drinking gatorade is good because it helps replenish glycogen stores in your muscles, and eating a meal of protein and carbs. is extremely important. For example eating an 8oz lean steak, and 2-3 cups of rice, and some veggies would be a good post workout meal.
