The important thing to remember with your little bro is that if you try to push him into an exercise routine, he may not do it consistently. Maybe talk to your parents about signing him up for a sport like basketball, or even go play some one on one with him at the park. Anything to get him active while making it fun is the best. Remember, he is ONLY 11. Plus, also note that his diet is going to be just as important as the exercise.

The best advice I can give you doesn't have to do with training him, but motivating him. Find ways to keep it interesting, challenge him, make it into a game ("lets see how long you can hang from the bar today"), and reward him. Figure out what motivates him (aesthetics, performace, positive feedback) and use that.

I used to think it was all sets * reps * weight for a certain frequency and exercise... Spend enough time training people and you realize this isn't even the most important thing.
