I use to weight train about 15 years ago consistenly for a few years and had some pretty good results.I have the type of body that responds fairly quickly to training but I have been a couch potato for a long time now and would like some advice on a good program to get good results but minimize the amount of time in the gym. When I trained before I had all the time in the world now I am married with children and a job that requires occasional overtime it takes alot more planning to fit it in,but I am ready and motivated.I used to do a push-pull system with all my pushing movements one day and pulling the next, two days on then one off. Any ideas on what I should do and how often keep in mind I have a limited time and its imposible to fit it in at lunchtime, I am a construction worker and get a half hour for lunch. The mornings are also bad because I start very early(have to leave my house at 6.ooam)and not much of a morning person,so this will be a challenge but looking for any and all advice. Thanks,Brian
Also,I am 44 years old about 5'8" and 190lbs with a 35"waist, want to be about 165-170lbs all said and done.

Can't help with scheduling but the sight has numerous exercise programs that would be great for getting re-started. Look under exercise programs, and then use FT profile and in-box to pick one I think. It also helps us to help you if you fill out your profile. Welcome here.
