I just had a quick question...I lost about 40lbs and would like to lose about 15 more...I do have a low thyroid...I haven't worked out much (except gardening I live on a farm) I need to bump it up a notch...I have been running the last two mronings I do about 5 minutes stretches and run/walk (to build stamina) about 25-30 minutes (outside) but it does get cold here quick and I was curious if anyone recommends yoga when the cold months get here...I just want to keep toned and weight down!!

I bought a small training trampoline that I use in the living room when I watch TV. I mostly run on it instead of jump, and have found that I can run better on that than outside on the real ground. I also change my position, and with some nice music I even dance a bit.
Yoga is good for stretching and such, and I have a couple of exercises I do from time to time, but nothing in a group.
I'm trying weight training, and the results are very nice. You should try that as well. I use rubber tubing instead of weights. Less to carry from the shop ;-)

Yoga is great for keeping you limber regardless of the time of year or what your activity is. Good for you for starting a running routine and if you can keep it up thru the colder months, it's a great way to get exercise and fresh air. Introducing some resistance training, aka weight lifting, whether it's with rubber tubing, free weights or cans of soup, along with a sound nutritious diet will help you reach your goals. good luck and welcome to FT!
