hey - motivation needed

Hi,
really looking to lose some weight, rounghly 20lb and majorly tone up. Havent done any real exercise for over a year, and need to get into it.
My problem is that I go for a couple of weeks, and as I see no results, I give up.
Really need some help with motivation - any ideas?

Here is a link to a self motivation site. Some of the suggestions may be helpful. The visualizing what you want is probably the most important. Coming to this site and PARTICIPATING is also very important. No one can keep you motivated but you. Everyone can encourage and support you though. Don't give up because things don't happen fast enough for you also.

I have been struggling for 3 years to get back to where I was pre-injury. The only thing I have accomplishment thus far is no more daily pain and no more living on motrin. BUT, that is enough to keep me motivated. If I work for it, I can achieve it, maybe not as fast as I would like, but in time...
