Complete Hysterectomy?

Hello! I am new to this site. I am 37 yrs old. I had a complete hysterectomy in 2002 and i have been gaining weight at a slow and steady rate. I just joined a gym and would like to know if anyone has any advice on how to loose this weight. I have tryed to loose but see no results. I am 5'2" and weigh 155lbs. before my surgery I weighed 126 and had 19% body fat.
