Hello. My wife and I are looking to lose weight. Our diet is pretty decent, but we need to exercise more. We aquired a weight bench + 80lbs of weights, and need to know what exercises and how much to do. Here is our info:
Me:
Height - 5'10"
Weight - 215lbs Goal - 150 to 170
Pant Size - 40in Goal - 32 to 34
Wife:
Height - 5'1"
Weight - 169lbs Goal - 130
Pant Size - 16 Goal - 10
The weight bench we got: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00614627000P?vName=Fitness+%26+Sports&keyword=maxx&sLevel=1
Thanks in advance, please let us know if more info is needed.

Set up a fitnessplan here and make sure to tick the free weight option. That should give you a nice start.

Yes, I did that, but the exercises that were offered included equipment (such as an overhead bar for chin-ups) that I do not have access to. I'm looking for a more personalized answer for the equipment I have. Any ideas?

You can select free-weights only, not machines. If there's something that you can't do then find something that resembles it with free weights.

Changed it to free weights only... first exercise - chin ups. Calf exercise said to go find a calf machine.
I'm rather disappointed so far...perhaps I need to find my answers elsewhere?

What you can do is check out the exercise resoursed page. It's broken down into bodypart... you can then select new movements from there, however they won't reflect a change on your FT workout. You can have that happen if you sign up for FT Pro.
Somethings you can do for chin ups include Bent Over Rows and Dumbell Rows.

I've found that I can roughly mimmic a mashine move using rubber exercise bands, and some moves in the mashine is directly changed from free weights. Look at the pictures and read the description, and then consider what you have to work with. A bit of fantasy can get you a long way.
