As far as your diet, you should not eat your last meal before working out. Eat after the gym. Your workout seems fine. How do you feel? How are your gains? Have you hit a plateau?

I think Id struggle going to the gym on an empty stomach, or eat much when I finish!!
I do feel a little tired, so i try and get a few naps before the gym and at lunch time. This is the first time I've included cardio in my workout so I have mixed feelings about progress. Sometimes I feel skinny but I guess its the fat going, but once Im pumped up, I feel great.
Thanks for the post Robert.

That seems like some serious dedication, beyond that I'm not sure.

Other suggestion is to take your protein shake before the gym and then real food straight after (if not with another shake as well).
What's your stats? How much do you want to loose? and when is the competition?

The only reason I dont eat my last meal after the gym is that I often dont finish until 9:30, and dont want those extra carbs floating about while I'm sleeping.
Thanks all

But you need carbs straight after work out to recuperate (to be able to work as hard the day after). Actually simple carbs post work out is the only time where those carbs really never will make you fat......

How about I have my tea before I go, Then have some fruit juice etc (+a protein shake) after the gym?
