Hi everyone! I found F.T. doing a web-search and was pleasantly excited to read some of the things on here.

I am currently in need of losing about 10lbs. or basically dropping inches. Not sure how many inches I need to lose.
My current way of eating is eating 6 small meals a day and not eating after 6 or 7 at the latest. I have taken all processed foods out as well as any bad fats that I'm aware of. I basically eat protien with every meal, lots of veggies and citrus fruits. I drink plenty of water, at least half my body weight. And I do at least 45 mins. of cardio 5 days a week followed by 3 weight sessions a week.

I haven't been able to see any weight loss in my clothing or on scale but a few people say that they see a difference. I can't and it's bugging me. Really bugging me. So, I'm here for the help. I am a very determined individual and can't wait to get started here.
If you have any tips or would like to share some advice please.....be my guest. I can take many beatings.
Thanks for your time.

It all sounds good... but let's try and find out why it isn't working.

How long have you been on the eating plan? How much do you eat in calories?
Not eating after 6 or 7... do you get up really early in the morning (are you a morning person)?
When do you work out and when do you eat your biggest meal?

How do you weight train? Do you do many reps, 20 and above, with low weight, or do you do 10-15 with heavy weights? Have you been doing the same work out routine a long time? When you do cardio, what do you do? Have you tried interval training, HIIT? Can you do weights 5 days a week and cardio 3 instead?

Just a few questions, that I'm sure the more experienced here will need some answers to in order to help you.

I have had this eating plan now for a while. I'd say about 3 or 4 months. And I've been working out since Aug.27th. I remember the day because school started and I knew it would be prime time since I wouldn't have any kiddo's in the house. I wake up at 6:30..then at 8am I take my walk (fast pace) for an hour. I come home take a shower, clean the house and then about 9:30 I make myself two eggs cooked in olive oil (about a tbls) and wrap it up with a little avocado & a couple of tomato slices in a very high fiber tortilla. I think this is probably my biggest meal. I even feel like that's too big. If I get too full..I will save a half for lunch with some celery sticks or something. My calories total to about 1200-1300 calories a day.
I tend to do more cardio then weights. I knew for some reason in the back of my head that I should probably be focussing more on weights than on cardio, but didn't do it.
I haven't done interval training. Or at least I don't think I have. I'm not sure exactly what it is.
Oh...my weights and reps. I tend to lift heavier with lower reps.

I hope this has helped, let me know if I need to answer anythingelse for you. Thanks so much for the speedy reply.
