Have been weight training for ages now and have stopped putting on muscle mass. I have friends who are taking supplement shakes and am thinking of taking this next step. Any advice from anyone as to what does what and a good starting points. Cheers matt

With no other info to go on, just grab some protein powder from your local supplement store and go to town, the extra protein is never a bad thing. Of course, you could just eat more, also...

If stopped putting on muscle then you are not eating enough plain and simple.

What is the reason for supplementing? are you not eating enough? There is no magic in the supplements, (I am not against supplements).
Maybe take a look at your training, how long have you been doing the same routine? Diet?

I believe i am eating enough at the the moment but am struggeling with my work commitments to keep up with the calorie and protein intake and wondered whether supplements is a better alternative. have been doing the same routine etc for about the last 6 months due for a change.
