I have 40 pounds that I want to loose and while doing so I want to tone. I am just afraid of doing so. Of course, I want fast results so I need support to remain patient. Does this really work? It seems to be alot of information.... Ahhh, someone talk to me!!!!:surprised:
Welcome to FT! I'm not sure what you mean by afraid of "doing so", but you are right with regard to patience. Remember in the scope of things, you didn't put on 40 pounds quickly, and it won't come off quickly, especially if you want to keep it off and avoid years of yo-yo'ing. YES, sound nutritional choices and exercise WILL work. I have lost approx. 40 pounds and today put on a pair of pants I just got last month and my husband laughed at how baggy they were already! I did it after a lot or relization that I COULD do it and finally believe in myself enough to get to my goals. I still have a ways to go (started at 238, I believe) but you CAN do it!
