I have a couple questions regarding potatoes. I know there are red potatoes, as well as the regular potatoe we generally eat, but what is the difference between the two? Also, what really is the difference when you bake a potatoe compared to when you boil one? Thanks.

Not a whole lot in any way you mention. Unless you are a anal retentive bodybuilder who micromanages every aspect of everything they eat, then you have no worries.

I think it's a matter of what goes on them as opposed to the two different cooking methods. :)

No real difference between them. However, a boiled potato will have a higher GI rating vs a baked one.

Thanks. I know it is optimal to eat something with a high glycemic index, along with protein, after a workout. So would a baked white potatoe fit that, or should I just stick with fruit?

A baked white potato is ideal along with protein for your post workout meal.
