Question 1: Will drinking water after a protein shake decrease the ammount of protein I get?
Question 2: I want to get back into running. Should I wait for my diet to adapt to my new protein intake?
Answer 1: No, it will not affect the amount of protein. It will just be the same amount of protein with more water. Your body needs water, don't worry about this too much.
Question 2: No, I recommend starting off slow though. Don't jump back into 5-10 mile runs from day one and expect to do it 7 days a week 2 times a day type of thing.
