Hey everyone! This is my first time at the website and I am really excited to find such a helpful site that offers so much : ) Once a long time ago I felt happy and comfortable with who I was and what my body looked like. It's been about five years since that time and I have had a baby (who is three) and a really stressful time. However, I am ready to start anew and quit having an excuse on why I look the way I do. So I am going into my second week at the local YMCA and my new way of eating. I have to be honest, these weeks have been really hard (especially since I have a husband who can and does eat what I am trying to avoid)So to keep me motivated I have decided to take the before and after pics and I bought some nice pair of jeans that I eventually want to fit into : ) Also, I have joined this site in hopes I can make some great friends and we can give each other moral support : ) So please feel free to contact me if you wanna chat : ) Have a great day!

Liz

Good luck Liz. This is a great site, I'm sure that you will find it helpful and motivating. Congratulations on your lifestyle changes. And remember, just because your hubby CAN eat everything (mine is the same way) doesn't mean he should. He can be thin and fit looking, but have high cholesterol, heart problems, feel fatigued, etc. etc. etc. A healthy diet isn't just about being skinny, it's good for everyone, so try cooking for the family in a healthy way. He'll get used to it. :)

lol - thanks for the tip : ) The site is great! It counts the calories for me which is nice when your a busy person! So do you have any suggestions on where I can find any recipes for healthy eating?
