I was wondering when traning to gain muscular weight, does the muscle weight we gain get spread out through out the whole body or does it only add to the area where one has trained on?

If you train properly with compound, multi-joint exercises it will be over the whole body.
Squats, Deadlifts, Presses, Rowing, etc.

asimmer that was probably the greatest advice I have ever heard. I think that will be my new slogan at the gym when someone asks me how to gain weight and get stronger.
