the way I see...at the age of 17 u might wana stick to muti-vitamin and vitamin c then as u go on try some meal replacements, creatine and glutamine...

Eat six meals a day and make two of them a meal replacement. At age 16, if your active at all your metabalism should be pretty good so most meal replacements should work great.
