I have just started a exercise and weight loss program and I have been walking on the treadmill Iv got my self up to twenty min now and I am walking at a level incline at 3.2 mph I was wondering if I am not able to walk very long if it would be better for me to walk at a faster pace or is it better to stay at the pace I am at and walk longer? I am also doing work on weight training machines too along with the cardio I only do it every other day but I am walking every day can anyone give me some advice to help me loose weight and also I need to loose this gut I have HELP!!!
I would personally suggest working harder, getting your heart rate up higher rather than walking a long time at a slow pace. As you get more "fit" you can increase the amount of time on the treadmill at the faster pace.
