Hello everyone! My name is Neesha, and obviously, I am a newbie! I was so excited to stumble upon this website because it seems to have such good information and such active and helpful members! I am a college student finishing up my freshman year and I've been trying as often as possible to become fit now that I have the available tools (i.e. better food choices, more equipment available) so far this year I have lost around 15 lbs and I really want to build muscle now that the extra fat is gone.. which brings me to my question!
I have seen so many people asking about how to reduce the size of their hips.. but I have the opposite problem! When I lost weight, I lost some of my curvy-ness.. it's still there a bit, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do as far as building muscle to give myself more hip without the fat?
There are muscles that end at the hip, and the end of a muscle is smaller than the middle. Since I started working out my hips returned to a more straight look. I still have wide hips, but they are more chiseled. Now i don't find round hips that attractive anymore, because most of that roundness is just fat. Have a look at some of the female bodybuilder pictures, and you'll see how the muscles are placed.
