So this morning I walked out and slipped. Due to a set of bricks that border our side walk when I slipped boht feet were pinned and I fell over top of the twisting my knees and ending in a world of pain. Left leg went totaly numb, took me about a full min to try to move and another 2 or so to be able to hobble back in. I went to work but at 7pm decided with the swelling I saw and the pain I had a tirp to the after hours clinic was called for. Luckly the doctor that saw me was able to really tell what was going on and not just send me to the ER.

I have at least many small tears in both hamstrings. I am in some pain and both legs are totaly shot in terms of totaly mobility. Means I hobble around like Charlie. LOL
anyway....I am under orders to rest for 5-7 days. The Doctor told me that my lifting heavy saved my knees and hamstrings from serious damage.

SOOOO no lifting but upper body allowed.

Take care of yourself and don't rush back into it. REST and be careful.

Yeah, really be careful when you go back into things. I sprained the achilles tendon in my ankle and was ordered to stop running for about a week. After the week I went back into it, even though my ankle was still a little sore and wound up having to take another full week off. Listen to your body.

I hope you get better soon!

Rest, but start rehab as soon as you can. Rehab for muscle tears is crucial if you don't want further trouble down the line.

Good luck with the recovery.

woke up this Morning. Calves ( at the top) are crampy and hard and sore. Both knees feel like glass is in them. Right one is locking or not tracking right. WHen I sit in a chair both legs fall asleep fast. UHG:(

Eh, don't sweat it, bro. You'll be back to bangin' weights in no time...... IF you take care of yourself!

How are you feeling today Mutt? Maybe you need to call your Dr. again, get an MRI or something? Glassy, crampy, hard, sleepy legs don't sound very good.

Hi there!
I am pretty new but dealing with knee injury old (I was once an anorexic dancer/distance runner) and new I slipped on the ice and have a miniscal tear. The first doctor I saw didn't order the radiology but the orthopedic imediately got me into an MRI and a specialist.

I hope you are feeling better soon.
